Overview

Established in 1963, PEI is a leading medical and surgical sales, marketing and distribution company. It is ideally placed to meet the demands of the entire Irish healthcare market.

The company specialises in the distribution of a number of medical device areas to Irish hospitals, including Orthopaedics, Cardiac, Operating Room, Sleep & Respiratory Medicine and Dialysis.

In 2002, PEI extended its portfolio to include the distribution of medical and dental products to more than 4,500 Medical Practices and Dental Surgeries throughout Ireland, when it purchased Promed. 

In 2005, PEI expanded its portfolio, when it moved directly into patient care, with the establishment of a series of Dialysis Clinics, in Galway and Kilkenny, under the Wellstone brand. In 2009, this model was extended still further, to include the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart related issues, with the establishment of the Cardio Clinic at the Vista Primary Care Campus in Naas.
