IHF launch "Say "When" Sooner" campaign

The Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) has just launched a campaign to highlight the links between alcohol consumption and heart health. The campaign – Say “When” Sooner – is a major health promotion element of the IHF's now annual September Heart Month, which this year focuses on alcohol and the links to heart disease and stroke. The IHF aims to explore lifestyle issues related to alcohol, heart disease and stroke, explain how much is too much and discuss the tricky topic of alcohol, calories and weight.

When it comes to alcohol, you may hear different messages about whether it is good or bad for the heart. You may also wonder "how much is too much?", "what are the recommended maximum weekly levels we should consume?", "what is a standard drink?"

You can find out the answers to all these questions and much more by downloading the IHF's FREE magazine here.

The Irish Heart Foundation is also making available a selection of promotional items to support the campaign. These are available to both individuals and organisations. Order your FREE Say "When" Sooner materials:
