Promoting the Latest Research at the 2nd London VT Symposium

The 2nd London Ventricular Tachyarrhythmia (VT) Symposium took place on Monday last, 17th September, at the Royal Society of Medicine.

This year’s international panel of experts presented on the latest research findings and cutting edge techniques involved in mapping and ablation of VT/VF, including:

• David Wilber, MD, who discussed various methods to tackle substrate - from identification to endpoints of ablation
• Prof Jesus Almendral, who presented on the continuing developments on combined epicardial and endocardial mapping strategies for specific indications
• Wee Nadamanee, MD, who explained developments in his ablation strategy for Brugada syndrome-related VF and how it may encourage a shift in current practice

Audience participation was encouraged throughout the well-attended meeting and ample discussion time was provided, allowing attendees to fully expose advances made in the field and promote better planning of procedures to achieve higher success in the long-term management of the VT patient.

Lectures from the meeting will be made available on the London VT Symposium website soon.
