2008 saw the  arrival of a new company to support the needs of Chronic Dialysis treatment in Ireland. That company is the result of a joint venture between PEI and B Braun; a partnership which brings with it decades of expertise, both of value added distribution and differentiated service solutions, but also innovative research and development and high quality manufacturing processes. That company’s name is B Braun Avitum Ireland (BBAVI).

BBAVI is the result of the coming together of two likeminded and progressive medical device companies. Its objective is to bring new choice to the Irish renal care clinician, in terms of haemodialysis machines, consumables and exceptional customer support.

PEI is well known as one of Ireland’s leading sales, marketing and distribution companies. With over 40 years experience, PEI has grown to be one of the largest independent, privately owned companies, serving the Irish medical device sector. Deriving from its experience of renal product supply, it has also brought patient care models to the fore, through its “Wellstone” Clinic offering.
