Ansell announces #Happy Hospital Campaign

The holidays are a time for gifts and joy! PEI's Operating Room partners Ansell want to gift life-changing operations for a dozen children, helping support a worthy cause.

Starting 15 December 2015 and running through to 12 January 2016, Ansell will be inviting European hospitals to share their holiday spirit with the world. For Ansell Cares' new #HappyHospitals fundraising campaign, they are asking health care workers and staff to share photographs of how they celebrate the holiday season at work.

And Ansell will match the hospitals' festive spirit with direct donations to the charity  Operation Smile. The total available amount of 3000 euros will fund up to 12 operations on children with cleft lip/cleft palate.

The campaign website is: http://happyhospitals.ansell.eu

Ansell will be posting regularly from the following social media accounts:

For each holiday-related photo uploaded to the campaign site by hospital staff, Ansell will donate 2 euros to Operation Smile. The first 250 persons to upload a photo will even receive a best-selling book to thank them: The Mindfulness Colouring Book. Each person can upload up to 5 photographs, and participation is open to staff of all healthcare facilities in Europe.

For each photograph shared on social media with the hashtag #HappyHospitals, Ansell will donate 1 euro to Operation Smile. This can be on Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, Facebook or Instagram. You do not need to be a healthcare worker to share the photographs or vote for them. All the contest details are here. Ansell has pledged to donate an additional 500 euro to Operation Smile if one of the photographs uploaded for the campaign receives over 500 votes and Facebook shares.

We need your help to spread the word and endorse our joy in helping give children a smile that will last forever.

Happy Holidays to you and all your staff from all of us at PEI and Ansell Healthcare.
