CORAIL® at 30 Years Hip Symposium

In 2016 the CORAIL stem will have achieved 30 years clinical usage globally. To celebrate DePuy Synthes Institute will host a major Hip Symposium at the Cité Centre de Congrès, Lyon, France. The meeting takes place on the 26th and 27th May, 2016.

This Hip Symposium will recognise: Ongoing clinical success, world wide growth and focus on the needs of the next generation of CORAIL users. Attention will be given to the forgiving nature of the system the intra-operative flexibiity (primary, complex primary, FNOF and conservative revision) and the proven clinical success. Delegates will be able to witness scientific presentations, ‘live’ surgeries, mini debates and clinical case discussions.

As this is NOT a basic course, the criteria for attendance is quite strict. Experienced THA surgeons performing more than 50 THA per year and who will already be familiar with the concept and advantages of the fully-coated HA concept. 

The programme will examine the following:

The Past: A bone preserving stem –Validation of the Concept
The Present: One system for every patient –‘Live’ surgery from three continents –Case Study discussions
The Future: Moving towards a universal system –The Acetabulum –Treatment Algorithm –Conservative Revision

This meeting will feature a world class faculty. The ARTRO Design surgeon group is joined by a highly reputable and distinguished international faculty.
