DePuy Unveils Latest Innovations at AAOS

DePuy unveiled several of its new advancements in orthopaedics at the 79th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), which took place in San Francisco, California last week.

These advancements span joint replacement, shoulder reconstruction and hip revision surgery, and have each been designed to optimise or streamline procedures, personalise care and provide clinical and economic value.

Amongst the new treatments announced were Gription TF Acetabular Augment System and TruMatch Personalised Solutions, which both recently featured in the latest edition of PEI’s The Journal: Orthopaedics.

About the new innovations, Andrew Ekdahl, President of DePuy Orthopaedics, had this to say:

“Our ever expanding portfolio enables us to offer solutions to most of the orthopaedic challenges a surgeon or patient may face. Our goal is to provide surgeons and healthcare institutions with more choices that help fill clinical needs, streamline procedures and personalise them. We believe that products that focus on these areas will help enhance care while reducing healthcare costs.”
