PEI to host Orthopaedic Meeting in Galway

PEI is delighted to host an orthopaedic meeting to celebrate 30 years of the CORAIL stem hip.

In 2016 the CORAIL stem reached 30 years clinical usage globally. This Hip Meeting, entitled "THE DIFFICULT UNCEMENTED PRIMARY", will address issues regarding challenging cases in uncemented primary hip arthroplasty, in particular for the femoral side, including:

•    Small size femur
•    Dorr A type femur
•    High offset femur

The venue for this event is the Hotel Meyrick, Eyre Square, Galway. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm, with light buffet style dinner beforehand.

PEI have assembled an excellent faculty for the evening with extensive experience. This includes:

•    Mr. Tarik Aït Si Selmi (Centre Orthopédique Santy, Lyon)
•    Mr. Michael O’Sullivan (University Hospital Galway)
•    Mr. William Curtin, (University Hospital Galway)
•    Mr. Colin Murphy (University Hospital Galway).
