The ATTUNE Knee System is the largest ever research and development project from DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction. Six years of development, implantations in over 15,000 patients1, and a series of innovative proprietary technologies:  the ATTUNE Knee System is designed to feel right for the surgeon in the OR and right for the patient.

The patient is a 53 year old female, 5’7”. 250lbs, BMI of 39 (class II obesity4) with a long history of right knee pain and significant degenerative joint disease as well as rheumatoid arthritis.  She has end-stage changes with complete loss of the medial and patellofemoral joint spaces.  She has been a patient of Dr. Hoeffel’s for three years being treated with multiple injections, which have now become unsuccessful.  She is now to the point that the pain in her right knee is significantly affecting her quality of life, activities of daily living and ability to work.

FEEL RIGHT FOR THE SURGEON
You know when something just feels right. This is the feedback DePuy Synthes is hearing from surgeons using the ATTUNE Knee System. Implants and instruments combine to improve the feel of the knee during surgery, taking total knee arthroplasty to a whole new level.

FEEL RIGHT FOR THE PATIENT
Advancing patient performance was always the core focus. After six years of intense research and development, and implantations in thousands of patients, the integrated ATTUNE Knee System is now balancing the need for motion and stability to help deliver improved patient performance.

TRUMATCH Personalised Solutions has designed over 20,000 patient specific plans worldwide and is now available with the ATTUNE Knee System which offers surgeons the choice between the TRUMATCH Solutions Resection Guide and TRUMATCH Solutions Pin Guide.2

TRUMATCH Solutions was designed to increase procedural efficiency by reducing the number of instrument trays, eliminate up to nine surgical steps compared to traditional knee replacement and deliver the guides sterile and ready to use, which may decrease hospital costs.  TRUMATCH Solutions also uses CT technology rather than MRIs, which can result in improved bone imaging, less scanning time and lower costs.3
