ISAT AGM '15 moves to August

This year's AGM and Information Day for the Irish Sleep Apnoea Trust (ISAT), has been postponed from its traditional slot in April, to a later time in August, 2015. In an announcement from Chairman, Arthur O'Hara, the organisation has decided to put its Conference back to Saturday, 29th August due to the ongoing changes to regulations covering Sleep Apnoea and drivers - with a new EU Directive for Group 2 Drivers set to be brought into Irish Law before 31st December, 2015.

There appears to be some confusion regarding the administration of these regulations and while ISAT has sought further information about the changes - the adminstration of the regulations has remained a closely guarded secret that the authorities appear unwilling to share.

As such, ISAT have put back the conference so that they will be in a position to share the most up to date information and advice. They also propose inviting representatives from other stakeholders in road traffic matters, including insurers, Health & Safety, etc.

A new venue is also being proposed which is bigger and which will have free parking and good catering. For further information please contact ISAT or visit their website at
