Latest News from ISAT: OSA-CPAP Survey and 12th Annual Conference

The Irish Sleep Apnoea Trust (ISAT) recently released an update on its Independent National Survey on CPAP treatment therapy compliance, which it commissioned in mid-2011, as well as publishing the date of its 12th Annual Conference.

Independent National Survey on CPAP Treatment Therapy Compliance

Results from an Independent National Survey on CPAP treatment therapy compliance that was commissioned by ISAT in mid-2011 are currently being collated by Ms. Michele Dunne, an experienced Respiratory Scientist, and shall be published on the ISAT website in the very near future.

Questionnaires were sent out by CPAP supplier companies, including ResMed PEI, to their patients and it is the results from these questionnaires which are currently being collated.

Only final national totals will be published.

The aim of the survey is to gauge the numbers of patients undergoing CPAP treatment therapy and to understand how compliant these patients are. This information will influence future plans and advocate for more support from Government and the Health Service Executive (HSE).
