Sleep Well ... Informed - Out Now

The latest edition of “Sleep Well ... Informed”  – a newsletter from ResMed PEI for people with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and their families is out now. 

We continue to bring you interesting news regarding your treatment, or which may impact on your progress in this regard. In this issue, following the Road Safety Authorities publication of a new report to GPs entitled ‘Fitness to Drive’, we look at the laws or regulations across the world regarding Sleep Apnoea sufferers and their national requirements regarding driving.

In 2012 ISAT carried out a patient survey on a cross section of CPAP patients throughout the country. The aim of the study was to examine some of the day to day habits of CPAP patients and see if these affected therapy. We present the main findings.

Following lots of customer feedback our product information section focuses on Full Face Masks in this issue. In particular we present the Quattro, Quattro FX and the Liberty – an excellent range of masks for customers who require a full face option.

Our patient story this issue comes from Fr Leo Flynn, a missionary priest who has spent the last fifty  years of his life in Nigeria. His story demonstrates that perseverance pays off – how continuing with CPAP therapy really can change your life.
