PEI Presents Focus Ireland with Rain Dance Cheque

On Monday, 5th September PEI presented Focus Ireland with a cheque for €18, 550 which was raised from its recent (and successful) Guinness World Record Attempt for the World’s Largest Rain Dance.

The funds raised will go towards future Focus Ireland projects, particularly its Aylward Green initiative. The only initiative of its kind in Ireland, Aylward Green provides emergency accommodation for many families throughout Dublin as well as services that specifically cater to the children that live there.

Some of the money has already been used to support Aylward Green’s ‘Summer Project’, which included a ‘Build Your Own Bike’ scheme, a swimming initiative, and external outings for the children to country farms, the cinema and horse riding lessons.

Extra funds will go towards educational workshops for both parents and children, with a focus on literacy and IT skills.

PEI is proud to have been involved with Focus Ireland and the Aylward Green initiative and hopes that the funds raised will contribute in some small part to its ongoing development.

PEI is also proud of its staff, family and friends, and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued generosity and support in this and all other PEI CSR initiatives.
