Promed Sponsors Charity Cycle for IRFU Charitable Trust

PEI's sister company, Promed, has become a sponsor of the first ever IRFU Charitable Trust Cycling Team and their charity cycle across the South Island of New Zealand.

During this year’s Rugby World Cup, thirty cyclists will complete the 1000km cycle across some of New Zealand’s most challenging terrain to raise funds for seriously injured rugby players.

As part of the fundraising effort the IRFU are selling official Cycle jerseys, of which Promed is a proud sponsor.

Committed to raising as much awareness about the jersey as possible Promed Managing Director, Colin Denman, met up with Taoiseach Enda Kenny, himself an avid cyclist.

It is hoped the publicity gained will help increase sales of the jersey, and in turn raise much-needed funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust.

Further information on the official Jersey can be found at the official IRFU Cycle website.
