RCSI to Host Public Lecture on Heart Disease and Stroke

The Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) will host a free public lecture about heart disease and stroke on Wednesday, 25th January.

The lecture is the first in a series of MiniMed lectures the RCSI runs each year – free-of-charge lectures aimed at informing the public on a range of health issues.

January’s lecture will see Prof. Alice Stanton of the RCSI talk about cardiovascular disease and how people can “improve [their] chances of celebrating [their] 75th and 85th birthdays”, and Dr Frances Horgan discuss ‘life after stroke’, including information on stroke treatments and rehabilitation.

Although the lectures are free of charge, registration is essential.

For more information on the MiniMed lectures please see the RCSI website.
