Registration is now closed for our upcoming Operating Room Safety Conference. The meeting will address OR Briefing and Debriefing, Human Factors related to Safer Surgery, Hemovigilence, Patient Positioning, and Going Latex Free in the OR.
Additionally, we are running a poster competition focused on operating room safety initiatives that have been implemented across the country. The winning posters will be chosen by attendees and announced at the end of the conference providing an excellent opportunity to showcase the amazing work that is happening across the country.
CPD points being applied for and agenda to follow.
Posters are invited for topics related to the general discipline of Safety in the Operating Room that relate to the conference title.
Submissions are strongly encouraged from novice or experienced practitioners who are applying and/or developing interventions/technologies to optimise human well-being and operating room safety.
To submit your poster idea, please select “yes” on the last question of the below registration form. You will then be invited to include details of your submission there.

The winning groups will have the opportunity to present their poster for 5-minutes on-stage.
Deadline for final submission of poster and abstract is by close of business on Friday, May 24th 2024.
A digital publication of all posters will be available after the event.
Two poster submissions per hospital. Additional will be considered on an ongoing basis.
