PEI recently exhibited at the Mayo Arthroplasty Conference (MAC) in Knockranny House Hotel, Westport. The Mayo Arthroplasty Conference is now in its 16th year and has evolved into the largest specialist joint replacement conference in Ireland. There is an emphasis on covering current controversies and new technological advances in the fields of hip and knee replacement surgery.

The MAC programme is renowned for its concise didactic lectures and complex case presentations which aim to provide the knowledge base a practising arthroplasty surgeon requires in a single weekend conference.

The Mayo Arthroplasty Conference is aimed at specialist hip and knee arthroplasty surgeons, general orthopaedic surgeons who carry out hip and knee replacements and senior orthopaedic trainees with an interest in developing a career as an arthroplasty surgeon.

We thoroughly enjoyed engaging with all at MAC and look forward to the next conference.
