PEI’s Operating Room team were delighted to host an educational evening focused on Non-Latex Surgical Gloves in Nenagh on September 19. Guest speaker on the night was Sheeba Titus, Clinical Nurse Educator, Centre of Children’s Nurse Education (part of Children’s Health Ireland group).This meeting was focused on educating OR Surgical Teams on Latex and Non-Latex Allergies in the healthcare setting and the benefits of switching to latex free gloves where relevant in the operating room.
