We were delighted to host a very successful Day 1 of the FAMUS PoCUS Hands-On Course today at the Pillar Centre, Mater Hospital. The course is aimed at Consultants, SpRs and NCHDs interested in PoCUS and involves training in thoracic, abdominal/renal, and DVT/peripheral vascular imaging.
The course was expertly supervised by Dr Cian McDermott and Dr Tomás Breslin and enjoyed by all in attendance. If you'd like to know more about the course, please contact pocus@pei.ie.

Congratulations to Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons Mr Maurice Neligan and Mr Philip Brady who, along with Beacon Hospital’s incredible theatre team, carried out their first three VELYS robotic knee replacement surgeries.
